Human Resources We also provide tools for using Belbin and creating personality profiles on employees.
Have you ever wondered what kind of personality-type your employees have and how this can effects their roles in teams within your organisation. Why do some employees work better in some teams than others and how can you get the best out of them when they are in these teams? Having a better understanding of the type of employees you have can make a significant difference when putting them into teams that will work together and be effective.
We offer in-depth Personality Profiling Using the Myers Briggs or MBTI approach. The MBTI has been in use for over 50 years and is based on rigorous research and development which supports its use as one of the most accurate means through which to explore Personality type. It is a flexible, positive and constructive tool, which can be applied to a wide variety of different situations, including both Personal and Professional development.
The Belbin Team Inventory is a test used to gain insight into an individuals behavioural type. It was developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin after studying numerous teams at Henley Management College. Meredith's work at Henley Management College identified nine clusters of behaviour, termed Team Roles. Each Team Role has its particular strengths and allowable weaknesses, and each has an important contribution to make to a team. There are nine team roles which are: Plant, Resource Investigator, Coordinator, Shaper, Monitor Evaluator, Implementer, Completer Finisher, Specialist and Team worker.
We use this theory and set teams tasks to gain an insight into teams and the roles each person has within that team. Giving back feedback it improves self-knowledge and understanding among individuals and teams.
